Terms of service

1. Who sells

The seller is FRO STUDIO, Via Mercanti 18, 10122 Torino, Italy, VAT IT12109850011, email hello@thelightthatday.com ("we").

2. The product

We sell canvas prints generated from a date and a place chosen by you. Each canvas is made only after your order and only for you. The preview shows composition and colours; small colour differences between a screen and a printed canvas are normal and are not a defect.

Proportions and colours come from astronomical calculations and from historical weather data provided by third parties. When historical data is not available, for example for very old, very recent or future dates, the weather is a seasonal estimate, as stated on the page before you order.

3. Order and contract

The contract is concluded when you receive the order confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel an order, with a full refund, if it cannot be produced or delivered.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in euro and include VAT where applicable and standard delivery. Payment is taken when you order, through Shopify's secure checkout. We never see or store your card details.

5. Delivery

Production and delivery times are described in our shipping policy and are estimates. Risk passes to you when the canvas is delivered to you or to the person you indicate.

6. Right of withdrawal

Each canvas is made to your specifications. Under Article 59(1)(c) of the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005) and Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications. By placing an order you acknowledge this.

7. Legal guarantee and defects

Consumers benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for two years from delivery. If your canvas arrives damaged, faulty or different from your order, write to hello@thelightthatday.com: we reprint it or refund you, as described in our refund policy.

8. Your content

The place name you enter is printed as you write it. You are responsible for its accuracy. We may refuse offensive or unlawful text.

9. Intellectual property

The website, the method and the generated images remain ours. Buying a canvas gives you the physical object for personal use, not the right to reproduce or resell the image.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits the rights consumers have by law. Within those limits, our liability for an order is limited to the price paid.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, the courts of your place of residence are competent and you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country.
